Spray paint: often easier said than done. One time, we tried to spray paint our iron bed indoors and almost passed out. So, lesson number one is do it outside.

When Valspar released a rose gold spray paint recently, we were immediately like ‘what can we spray paint with this?’ As fans of the fast food motif trend, we thought it would be cool to make a classic Coke bottle into a rose gold vase. Was it easy? YES, but we have some important tips for you. So read on.

The good thing is you get to have a Diet Coke, so you have a jolt of caffeine before you get down to biz.

This is the paint. It comes out exactly like the plastic cap on the can.

Stuff a rolled piece of paper towel in the top so you can move the bottle around without touching the paint. Also, stick the edges of the paper down so it doesn’t blow up and stick to the bottle. You should def wear plastic gloves too, or your mani will get messed up

You leave for an hour to dry after the first coat, then do a second coat. It dries super fast.

Grouping together a few bottles gives a more impactful look than just a single soda bottle
